(Kathryn Scott), One Day 03 (Passion) and A place called Surrender (David Lubben)

You have penned a couple of songs. Write a couple of sentences about each one of them.
A) Wonderful Counsellor – wrote this while minding my friend's kids one night. I just started thinking of the names of Jesus and how He is worthy of all our praise. That's it!

B) Together – wrote this after Stephen Glenn had been speaking about unity in church and I think the challenge was set for anyone to try to write a song about unity.

Someone once said that it is important to be not a ‘worship leader' but a ‘lead worshipper'. How do you prepare to worship God yourself as you lead other on a Sunday?
It can be hard to worship when you are leading as the mechanics of leading can easily take priority over worshipping. Every time I lead worship the realisation that I can't do it without God's help is so real that I'm usually shaking with nerves! So I just give it all to God, I give him the songs that have been chosen, the band that has been put together and I give him my voice and hands, that way God's into control so I shouldn't need to worry about the musical side of it and should be able to worship Him freely. I just want people to be able to enter into the throne room and worship the King of Kings!
