What do you like to do on a day off?
Chill out by going for a drive along the coast.

Why did you become a Christian?
In 1976, I was in need; alcohol had almost destroyed my life. I found Jesus had the answers to needs. I became a Christian because I realised that Jesus had died for me, so I gave my life to him.

What is your favourite Bible verse?

Romans 5:8

Who is your favourite Old Testament person?
Abraham

What are your three main gifts?
Preaching, Teaching and Praying for people

It is important for the church to pray for those in leadership. How can we pray for you?
Concerning the new believers
Family protection
For continual guidance in decision making
For continual strength physically and spiritually

You are the New Believers pastor. Why do you enjoy this ministry?
It is something I wanted to do from just after the time I was saved. There was nothing for new believers, and I seem to have a heart for those who had just come to the Lord. So when I came to emmanuel I was given the opportunity to minister to new believers – over 50 in three years.

What fellow elder Wilson said about Tommie:
I call Tommie my walking Bible – he has a deep knowledge of Scripture. He loves people and loves Jesus with a passion.
