Thin Places
I haven't blogged in so long I took 3 goes at my password to get in. I have been so busy in Church life, 7 weddings in 6 weeks with all the prep and rehersels and stuff that goes along with that, as well as everything else. But then everyone is busy so enough about me.
I've been thinking lately of the thin places in my life, the places where I feel I was closest to God. Lorraines wee Gran made me think of this, she is 90 and has loved God all her life in her own quiet but very strong way. Now she feels she wants to go home, her race is run and while all her family naturely wants her to stay, she just feels ready for home. As I've sat with her a few times i've felt an amazing thin line between me and God. A bit like God's toes standing on the edge of eternity and her toes on the edge of time and I get to experience this amazing thin place.
Just a thought, hope you enjoy.
