Nothingness

I'm not sure if you've ever been to a place called Nothingness, it's not a very nice place. It is a place you feel abandoned. You love God, you desire Him, you know that He is, but you feel for some unknown reason He is silent. He is not answering your hearts cry for a clearer vision of what your going through. It was in such an hour that Jesus cried to His Father "My God, My God, why have you forsaken me?".
December was such a month for me. I cried, God all I want to do is your will, why must I bear this sense that I'm on my own? Why is my soul cast down with such a feeling of rejection and confusion?
Then I was reminded that to follow Jesus He said I had to take up my cross and follow Him. A cross experience is when you think God has turned a deaf hear to your cry. For a season your prayers go unanswered. If your at such a place can I declare a resounding HOLD ON God is in control, He is nearer than you think.
