He chose me

I'm just home from Church, running another SHAPE course. It was our final night sort off helping people find their Spiritual SHAPE, were they fit in the body.
I've been so busy lately its a bit unreal and to add to things I broke my ankle Friday week ago. I fell off my Motorbike at about 10mph. Nothing too dramatic in the story just stupidity really and to add to the embarrasment it happened not 10 yards from my front door in broad daylight in front of my lovely neighbours who I'm sure are sniggering behind their curtains.
To add to that I'm in plaster to the knee and on crutches, so Monday evening I hobble into my local filling station to grab some milk which I put in a bag and hang over the grip of one of my crutches BUT its raining, the tiled floor is slippy and my crutches went scu whif and I fell, banged my head on a freezer and knocked myself out. Talk about waking up with a crowd round you and a young girl saying "Pastor Emerson, are you ok, do you want an ambulance". No I just want to go home and hide, I have never felt less like "Pastor Emerson" than at that moment.
I've wondered is God teaching me Humility?
I know this, He has a sense of humour, He chose me!

Good to see that you can laugh at yourself when you probably wanted to go home and cry. God loves you dearly, he sees your pain, and I dont mean the broken ankle and bumped head. May you know His near prescence in the weeks ahead.
