And it came to pass

Christmas is over for another year and already within 3 days I've conducted a wedding, attended a funeral and just got news of Mr Trotter, a dear man of 80 slipping away into eternity. I visited him last Friday and as I chatted to him I couldn't help but think it would be his last Christmas, little did I know his death was so imminent. We lost a dear member of our church last Saturday morning. Andy McCoy, 31 years of age with everything to live for was snatched away leaving us realing in a year that I would love to forget but know I never will.
I am reminded of the little phrase in the scriptures, "and it came to pass". How true, everything comes to pass, even life. This is not a mock trial run, this is reality so I encourage you, give it your best shot because it will come to pass.

Philip

2006 has passed and it is like any other year it leads to another. For you its one that even when you try will never be raised from your memory it’s a piece of you like your right hand. 2007 is a New Year a new season of your life a year that will create for you new memories more chapters of that book you’ve told me you’ll write. Chapters that will occupy more space than you think possibly more space than your life to date. Here’s a piece of scripture that you could put on the footnote of any page in a chapter of your choice.
Psalms 11:4 The LORD is in his holy temple, the LORD'S throne is in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men.

May God bless you Philip and your New Year.
