Weekend at Bernies
There was this film out some years ago called "Weekend at Bernies". It was a comedy where these two guys gate crashed an expensive party at their bosses home only for him to die in their company and they in turn tried to make everyone believe he was still alive. They had to haul him about everywhere, tied between them, quite a funny show.
When something in you dies it can be quite labourious hauling it around, trying to make everyone believe that your ok. The Bible is full of Divine Principles and Established Laws one of which is death and resurrection. When someone dies, God promises resurrection but when when something dies within you God also promises resurrection according to 2 Corinthians 4.
Thank you for your response to yesterdays blog, your support means a lot to the both of us as we pursue this season of our lives together allowing God to resurrect those feelings and emotions has been quite a journey with more to go.

Hey Philip - have no idea what I'm gonna say here. I was aware that your announcement was coming but must admit I was kinda gob-smacked to actually see it in print yesterday. It was clear that you wrangled with it, and I guess, on reading, I felt something like that to - a whole big bunch of thoughts and emotions. But my overriding thought is that, ultimately, it doesn't matter what I or anyone else thinks - frankly, its none of our business, other than you have been open enough to put your thoughts into words through your blog. You know that me and Marty and the girls love you to bits, and we trust you completely, and that includes with this. Phil, I'm delighted to see you looking happy and hopeful again, and I totally wish only joy and happiness and good things for you and Lorraine. So just enjoy where you're going now, and don't worry about what anyone says - you can please some of the people some of the time, but you can't please all the people all the time, as they say... Love you!
