Prayer
I have really been spoken to about my prayer life lately. It's amazing that one can so quickly get busied to the point of neglecting ones prayer life. I read in Luke 5:15,16 today, "But dispite Jesus instructions, the report of His power spread even faster and vast crowds came to hear Him preach and to be healed of their diseases. BUT Jesus often withdrew to the wilderness to pray".
I was really challanged by the BUT in the middle. It seems the busier Jesus got the more He felt the need to pray. Many things can clamour for your attention but it is only through Him you can draw strength so your prayer life is paramount to succeeding in the race of life. Oh how I need to keep learning this divine principle.

Phil, God has really been reminding me about prayer. I think as believers in the west we do it more out of guilt than out of the need and desperation of relying on God. This week in Cell we were praying about my finance for the ministry. Things are really tight. Anyway on Tuesday I got a cheque in the post for £3000. How about that for an answer to prayer. God was working upstream the whole time.Prayer works
Phil just catching up on blogs. I think Marty's comment on 'Forgiveness' was mighty and portrayed the Gospel in a nutshell. Great stuff. SS
