Place of the Skull
I love John 14:30,31 Jesus is talking to his disciples literally hours before the cross, "I don't have much more time to talk to you, because the ruler of this world approaches. He has no power over me, but I will do what the Father requires of me, so that the world will know that I love the Father. Come, lets be going".
This passage to me is one of the most loaded in scripture as to fulfilling the mandate that God gives us. I feel Passion, Determination and Direction, Jesus has no doubts as to where He is going and no power of hell can stop it because the devil had no hold of Him at all and it's all to let the world know that He loves the Father.
I wonder this morning could you or I say, the devil has no power over me.
If you are going to be effective in Spiritual Warfare the first field of conflict to learn warfare is the Mind, the Place of the Skull. I have never thought it was a coincidence that Jesus defeated the powers of darkness at the Place of the Skull for it is this very place that everyone of us must first defeat the enemy.
The territory of the uncrucified thought life is the beachead to satanic attack in our lives. To defeat the devil we must be crucified in the place of the skull (THE MIND). According to Romans 12:1,2 Renewing our minds daily with the Word.

your words never fail to inspire me and make me think about how god works in my life. I may not always be the one at the front of church but i do always try to bring god into every aspect of my life and try to bring him into our people life too. I could not do this without your help because you have helped me so much. i have been able to come here and read your words and in tough times your words remind me god is good he is here with me and he is my rock.
