The Mind
One of the great psychological discoveries of this century is that your thoughts control your actions. If you want to change the way you act you must first change the way you think. Our thoughts actually influence our situation, it’s not what happens to me that matters as much as how I see it. The way I react will determine whether the circumstance will make me better or bitter. It can be a stumbling block or a stepping stone. it will blister me or bless me.
What’s going on in our mind will also influence our behaviour; we will always act according to our beliefs even if they are wrong or false. Why do you think people are afraid of the dark, it’s because they imagine something’s there that’s not real. Your convictions about yourself, about life and about God influence your conduct. John 8:31 says, "You shall know the truth and the Truth shall set you free".
Its not just the Truth that sets you free, its your knowledge of it or what you percieve it to be that actually works out in your actions and behaviour.
Jesus said, "I am the way the TRUTH and the life". We just need to get to know Jesus.

Earlier this week I had wondered if you would call an untimely end to your blog but today I am so glad this is not the case. I have been pondering & weeping over today's entry for some time and am so grateful that you continue to both hear from the Lord and share your gleanings with us.
I have hurt for you & yours all week after rejoicing in the release of your news but today I have to admit I have also been hurting for myself - by becoming aware of criticism of my plans from within the "circle."
It was wrecking my mind until God and you reminded me of my freedom in Christ which is incomparable. Thank you for calling me back to reality and importance;- Knowing Jesus; knowing His call; and obeying His call. i wouldn't want to live any other way - thanks mate
You got me thinking about what actually determines the mind.
I think the answer is found in Gen where the lord said they have become like one of us knowing good and Evil.
The Lord knows evil but is not in no why at all evil, we have not only a knowledge but actually have it in us.
So the problem is our minds have darkness in them but the heart that is regenerated has no place for darkness neither is there darkness in any place the holy spirit has sanctified.
So there is a way that seems right but the end is destruction, this is the way of cain he offers goods works and expects blessing for his work but God rejects him.
I have learnt even as a christian i have been trying and working on things which God has rejected.
If only we could be totaly possesed by God the same way a satanist is possed of the devil and let the lord have control and stop going back to Garden of Eden and trying to be our own Gods.

Just want you to know how proud I am of you, you live such a public life in Lurgan and do everything in your power to help others in trouble, this past near six months have been a living hell for all our family and you still manage to give your time to help others, and be open and honest about how you are feeling. Lorraine has not just become a part of your life, she has become a big part of our lives as well. We will always love and cherish mum but to see you smile again makes me so proud. Just want you to know that I love you loads and every decision you make me and Andrew both will be right behind you cause you are the best. XXXXX

PS you also have the knack of choseing the best. The Lord walks with you and Lorraine in this new Journey for both of you. The Lords Path is always the right path but not always the easy path.
