Easy Led

There is a powerful statment made in Romans 8;14 "For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God". I have been asking myself this morning, "Am I allowing myself to be led by the Spirit of God". Thats what really matters folks, it's not the advise you get or the influance of people while both those things can be good, it's what is God saying? what way is He leading?
I'm sure you've heard the term "Easy led" probably used in a negative sense, I remember a school teacher at an open night telling me that my child was easy led in a wrong sense into mischief.
I believe God wants His children to be easy led by Him, to open the flood gates of your life to the power and the annointing of the Holy Spirit and allow Him to lead you down paths you never knew exsisted, through vallys you never thought you could have passed through, over mountains so wild and beautiful it would take your very breath away, across desert plains so parched and empty that you would begin to realize if it wern't for Him being with you, you would die and never make it through. That's the God we serve, He never leaves us and never forsakes us but here's the deal. If you are going to allow Him to lead you and be EASY LED you cannot choose the way, you've got to go where He leads and that will take blind faith, it's scary and it's painful at times but rest assure. HE KNOWS THE WAY.

There are two ways of getting out of a trial. One is to simply try to get rid of the trial, and be thankful when it is over. The other is to recognize the trial as a challenge from God to claim a larger blessing than we have ever had, and to hail it with delight as an opportunity of obtaining a larger measure of Divine grace. Thus even the adversary becomes an auxiliary, and the things that seem to be against us turn out to be for the furtherance of our way. Surely, this is to be more than conquerors through Him.

I dont attend your Church but have been to some of your services and have always been blessed. I have been reading your blogs every day, from the beginning you have been so honest, open and encouraging to so many of us. This has been a difficult path for you from the start even up to now and I know it has been very painful at times but you will never know how many people you have helped along the way. Your blogs along with friends (some who belong to Emmanuel)have helped me over recent months through a diffcult time in my life and I want to thank and encourage you to continue with your blogging (if thats the right term). On Sunday you asked us not to judge you as you shared with us. What right have any of us to judge another fellow human being? As a parent our hearts are torn apart when we watch our children go through heartache and delight to see happeniness enter their lives again. How much more does our heavenly father want to see us smile again after being down a heart breaking path? May God Bless you and Emmanuel in the days and weeks ahead. JB

Hi Philp was reading Romans 8 and agree with you that a man may be easy led.
I then wondered what makes a man easy to led away from the truth i think the answer is in our reluctance to destroy the flesh and therefore be clouded in our judgement, and therefore hear the wrong voice be that in propechey our whatever.
The results can be devastating but we can all learn from them times and become wiser through them.
As you preached yourself NEVER MAKE AN IMPORTANT DECESION WHEN IN THE VALLEY.
I HAVE NEVER FORGOT THAT.
A very profound statement.
I do thank you for your ministry and hope and pray that you always hear the right voice as i pray the same for myself.

Godbless and thankyou to the man who taught me how to love and see the best in people
