Driven 2
What is your Purpose? What are you DRIVEN by were the questions we were examining yesterday. Let’s explore further.
Some people are DRIVEN by fear. These people play it safe, they avoid risks. Fear is a self imposed prison and the scripture tells us that “Perfect love drives out fear” and that “God has not given us a spirit of fear”. Also it is important to note that fear and faith are two opposites like light and dark, black and white.
Some people are DRIVEN by the need to have. These people have no contentment, they think more will make them happy and then they get bored because it’s only temporary. Always remember self worth and net worth are not the same. Real security can only be found in what can never be taken away from you, your relationship with God.
Some people are DRIVEN by their need for approval. Many adults still thrive on the need to be approved. A key to failure is to try and please everyone. Mark 10:43 “Whoever wants to be great must become a servant”.
So how do we find purpose?
1. Building a relationship with God firstly is a major key followed closely by…
2. Serving others.
I call these two things ETERNAL BANKING based on the great commandment “You shall love the Lord your God…and love your neighbour as yourself”.
If you want to invest in yourself remember this little equation, investing in God + others = self worth.

The Lords Supper which Jesus instituted as the ultimated fulilment of the passover (matt.26:17_29 1Cor . 5:7) is given to us partly lest we to forget why he came and what he did for us But as the passover feast was upstaged by an extra-ordinary apperance of the Son of God in 8 or 9 Ad we should hope this might occur when we partake of the Lords Supper in 1800 ) the great Awakening in America was at the Lords Supper openness to the Holy Spirit will give you so much blessing at that time The Lord is at his table ask him to give you healing and he will also for your family it is early days my the Lord bless you Joy
