The Cure

I’ve had a busy week folks and now at the weekend I’m exhausted. It’s weird how your mind can do tricks on you when you’re tired and you think all kinds of stuff. I’ve had to lean so much this week on God’s grace, as a matter of fact I have wept so much this week as I have thought of this subject. Of what I once was and where I was destined to go yet He lifted me out of the mire and put my feet on the rock. The Old Testament is all about the law while the New Testament is all about Grace. Now don’t get me wrong, the law wasn’t bad, it just couldn’t redeem. The law was given to reveal sin while Grace was given to deal with sin. The law condemns the best man while Grace saves the worst man.
Taking someone’s blood pressure is not the cure for heart disease like taking someone’s temperature will not cure a cold nor will an x-ray heal a broken bone. The law just reveals, you cannot make yourself acceptable through the law. We need the Grace of God and that’s what’s on offer, God’s matchless Grace, this is THE CURE
