This is My doing
C. A. Fox said, The disappointments of life are simply the hidden appointments of love. My friend I have a message for you all today that I would love to whisper in your ear so that every storm cloud may disperse and every rough place in your life may become smooth. Its out of 1 Kings 12:24 “This is my doing”, can you imagine that God allows tough times in your life, He allows you to go through the crucible of testing and suffering. No one can touch you without His permission because according to Zechariah 2:8 we are “The Apple of His eye”. You did not come to this place by accident; you are where He has chosen to put you.
Great physical force is stored in the depths of the earth, in places such as coal mines. I was a coalman for a number of years and had the privilage of visiting a coalmine. I was told that coal was produced by the tremendous heat that burned in ancient forests. Could it be that spiritual forces are stored in the depths of our being and are brought about by the very pain we cannot understand?
So today if you’re struggling to find God in the situation you are in remember these words, THIS IS MY DOING.

What a day we had yesterday. It was fab! Thank you.
Last night after church I was standing talking when Jack decided to disappear for about 5 minutes (I guess you could say he got bored waiting!!) The next thing I see is him coming bouncing out of the church book shop with the widest grin ever seen. He said all excited, "mum, look what i've got." He had gone and bought himself Max Lucado's, 'Hermie and Friends Bible.' He then said, "I just thought it would do me a wee baptisim gift!!!!" So we are now reading a little every night. How cool.
Anyway, really enjoyed church yesterday. C u soon.
