No, no and Yes

I was away early this morning on my motorbike around the Antrim coast. I don't know whether or not you have ever talked to God from inside a crash helmet, quite an experience really and if you sing you have surround sound. (not so nice an experience) It was a beautiful morning by the time I reached Larne and I began to slip around the coast worshipping the God of all creation which is such an honour, to know that all things where and are created by Him. That means our circumstances as well folks, yes nothing can slip past God's permissive will. If it's happened God allowed it, now thats a hard pill to swallow sometimes but true none the less.
If you find yourself in a hard place today here are some questions that you need to ask.
1. Am I here because of sin. 2. Did I disobey God. 3. Are the motives of service in my life pure and honest. If your answers are NO, NO, and YES then you will have to accept this place as part of God's perfect and pleasing will. Will that be easy you ask, of course it won't be easy but it will be neccesary for you to move on in His will for you. There is a myth in the church today that says following God is the safest place to be. Following God is not for the faint hearted nor is it safe, it's dangerous and perilous and will probably cost you everything. Is it worth it? you ask, Oh it's worth it, listen to the words of the Psalmist in 84:10 "Better is one day in God's courts than a thousand elsewhere".
