Look to Jesus

I'm on another trip through the Gospels again and I am always inspired by the life of Jesus. He was totally balanced in every way, in thought, in word and in deed. The only perfect man to have walked this earth, perfect Mentally, at the age of twelve He taught the teachers. Perfect Physically, He drove the money changers out of the temple yet he could take a chid in His arms and bless it. Perfect Emotionally, He wept at Lazurus' grave and when Peter got emotional Jesus said "I will never leave you or forsake you". He got angry at the Pharisee's but He forgave the woman caught in adultry. He wouldn't speak to King Herod but He spoke to an immoral woman at a well.
He was firm but tender.
He was strong but not brutal.
He was gentle but not weak.
He was benevolent, He said give them to eat.
He was economical, He said take up the leftovers.
Oh what a wonderful Saviour He is, He's altogether lovely. What humility as He falls before His Father in the garden but what dignity as He stands strong when the soldiers come to take Him, falling backways at His presence and authority and the very sound of His voice when He say's "I am He".
Are you discouraged today? Are you dissappionted with life? Do you feel let down?
