God is for you

We had a fantastic day yesterday in God's house. Last week was our kid's week and they took our morning service with the help of the leaders of course, it was amazing. There's just something unique about the openess of kid's, they just seemed to give their all. Then last night our older youth done some dance, it marked the end of Vibe which has been going for a month teaching young people the creative arts. It was one of those day's that you leave church and smile, thinking, they are a great bunch of people, and they are. I could feel God smile last night as well knowing He was unlifted and pleased with His kids yesterday. I hear sometimes of church politics and all the problems that can bring but folks we just have a bunch of people who want more of God in our community and it is such an honour to serve and pastor in that setting.
Here's a little thought to start your week, God is for you, not has been in the past or may be in the future or would be if you behaved yourself but right here and now as you read this line, read it slow, GOD IS FOR YOU. Someone once said if you could see God's dairy your birthday would be circled, if there was a tree in heaven your name would be carved on it. And what about the idea of a tatoo, well here's what God say's in Isaiah 49:16 "I have written your name on the palms of my hands".
