Capacity
We have talked about identity over the last few days and I have been encouraged as to the response by text and just talking to people. It is so easy to loose yourself in the hussle and bussle of life. The whole key in it is to find what God says in His Word, drop the anchor of your soul into it and never move. The Word says that God knows every time a sparrow falls to the ground so are you not more important than a sparrow. You are of vast importance to God, always remember that. Some years ago while on holiday I went to a pottery works. An old lady began to mould a pot out of a piece of mud. She worked the wheel with her feet and as the wheel turned she slowly began to shape the piece of clay. Continually wetting her hands she shaped until the character of the pot was clear, I was impressed. Then she done something different, wetting her hands again she started to push her hand down into the pot everytime coming out with a handful of mud. In doing so she would sometimes damage the lip of the pot only to remake and fix it. In the end there was a pot that not only had character but it also had capacity. What use is a pot that doesn't hold something. In our lives God doesn't just want us to have character but also capacity and sometimes He has to reach deep inside to the recesses of our souls to clear us out and that can be a painful but nessecary process. Is God creating capacity in you today? Then He must needs to fill you with something and for that be eternally grateful.

Hey Uncle Philip
Turned over my wee kitchen calander this morning and it said:
"The very hairs of your head are all numbered. So don't worry! You are more valuable to Him than many sparrows."
Matt 10:30,31
Then to read it in your blog ... Wow!!
Love you loads
