Thank You Lord

I woke this morning saying "Thank You Lord yesterday is over". Ever had one of those days. Funny how you can feel your doing ok, like Thursday and Friday I was coping then Saturday appeared. I think it must have been around 5 in the morning I began to look at Jills empty pillow and my day just went fast and furiously downhill from there. I walked, and wept. That seems to be a familiar combination for me lately.
I was reading Psalm 119 this morning and verse 92 says "Unless your law had been my delights I would have perished in my affliction". I don't know what I would do without the Word of God at present. I keep thinking God is silent but I know He's there and His presence is awesome. Knowing He's there makes His silence worth a thousands chitter chatter, so I have to say "Thank You Lord". David said in Psalm 122:1 "I was glad when they said to me, let us go into the house of the Lord. Looking forward to Gods house today, hope you are too. Have a great day.
Blessings

Hi Philip

I never knew I could do this until about 1/2 hour ago when dad showed me. I think you're amazing Philip and trully thank God for putting us in the same family! You have been an inspiration to both John and myself and circumstances lately have really made me open my eyes and be thankful for what I have with John and my family. I continue to pray for you and Lisa, Amy, Debbie and Phil and know God will supply the strength you need for each and every day.

God is for you. Not "may be," not "has been," not "was," not "would be," but "God is!" He is for you. Toady. At this hour. At this minute. As you read this sentence. No need to wait in line or come back tomorrow. He is with you. He could not be closer than he is at this second. His loyalty won't increase if you are better nor lessen if you are worse. He is for you.

God is FOR YOU. Turn to the sidelines; that's God cheering your run.

Look past the finish line; that's God applauding your steps. Listen for him in the bleachers, shouting your name. Too tired to continue? He'll carry you. Too discouraged to fight? He's picking you up. God if FOR YOU.

God is FOR YOU. Had he a calendar, your birthday would be circled. If he drove a car, your name would be on his bumper. If there's a tree in heaven, he's carved your name in the bark. We know he has a tattoo, and we know what is says. "I have written your name on my hand," he declares (Isa. 49:16)

If your God is mighty enough to ignite the sun, could it be that he is mighty enough to light your path?

Keep going Philip. Love you loads

Kathryn xoxo
