Our God is an awesome God

The song "Faithful one so unchanging" has been a real source of strength to me over the past couple of weeks as I've tried so hard to come to terms with Jill's death. We where together since I was 15 so I don't remember living without her. I have to admit there have been days when I've struggled with God's faithfulness and many days I've just had to choose to believe it and not understand it.
I think thats what faith must be about, (as you can see I'm a slow learner) believing God when you don't have a foggiest idea what he's playing at. Abraham must have felt like that as he climbed the mountain with his only son. Ever asked, "God, what are you playing at"? Of course you wouldn't, or would you?
Here's my little nugget for today, Psalm 66:12 " You have caused men to ride over our heads; (that dosn't sound much fun) we went through fire and through water; (not so wonderful either) but You brought us into a wealthy place. (I like that)
Lord I pray that all who read this today including this old broken vessel that writes it may indeed be brought into a wealthy place with You. Amen
