Battles
Ever noticed that as christians our toughest battles are usually with God. Its hard while in the battle to feel the results of victory.
I woke this morning at 5 to the rain beating on my window, it sort of reflected my heart, now as I sit in the kitchen at 7.15 the sun is shining through the window. What a change. Our God is a God who never changes, Hes the same yesterday, today and forever. I think its that we don't cope well with change which leads me back to this battle with God. Remember how He changed Jacob to Israel, He had to wrestle him all night but God won, He always wins. His goal is to make us more lke Him.
Today is a new day, a day that the Lord has made, pray that I can rejoice and be glad in it.

Hi Philip
I find it very hard understanding why God allows us as Christians (or anyone) to experience really tough battles, but then I'm always reminded that Jesus life was no walk in the park either and that HE always provides the proper walking shoes for the roads ahead.
Anyway, I truly hope and pray that today will be a better day for you and the family. Keep on keeping on Philip!
Love you all loads

Hey Philip... No clever words or cliches, just letting you know that you and the kids are constantly on our minds and in our prayers - cold comfort, maybe, but from sincere hearts...
Love you

Hi Philip
Can't stop thinking bout you so hope you don't mind hearing from me again!
Was reading Max Lucado (again) and came across a page called, 'IN THE ARMS OF GOD.' It said:
We don't like to say goodbye to those whom we love. Whether it be at a school or a cemetery, separation is tough. It is right for us to weep, but there is no need for us to despair. They had pain here. They have no pain there. They struggled here. They have no sturggles there. You and I might wonder why God took them home. But they don't. They understand. They are, at this very moment, at peace in the presence of God......
When it is cold on earth, we can take comfort in knowing that our loved ones are in the warm arms of God, And when Christ comes, we will hold them, too.
Praying for you, Lisa, Amy, Philip, Debbie and Phil.
Loads of love
Kathryn xo
