Uganda reports!!
Team 2 arrived on Wednesday and the transition from team 1 could not have been smoother. The children and teachers of Source of Light School have taken to them quickly and have all ready won the teams heart. Yesterday was one of the hardest days work I have ever done in my life!! We had to lay the foundations for the kitchen, which involved carrying massive rocks and then pouring the slab to bring it up to ground level. Everyone is in bits today!! We took part in their church service again today and it was such a privilege to share something with them. We are presently relaxing by the side of the pool (well Grant and John are actuallly chucking all the girls into the pool!!)as we physce ourselves up for a full weeks work. I can't believe we have only one week left now. Will be nice to be home but have a fair idea we will back again. These people have given us far more than we have to them and in pastor Richard them have a wonderful and humble leader. He started this school with 12 kids in 1989 and now they have around 300 kids many of whom are born again. Once a week on a friday for an hour the children have what they call 'chapel' where they worship God (like you have never seen) and give testimoney to the things God is doing in their lives. It is a powerful time and so touching to see teachers who dearly love the children in their care and seek to not just educate them but also introduce them to the love of Jesus. Blessed are the poor...
