Trying to Chill

Trying to take it a bit easier this week after the madness of last week. Finding plenty to do in work - loads of things to get sorted - but nice to come home tonight and have a bit of space to cut the lawn!! Writing this around at my uncle Phils - he really is one of my biggest heros - keep praying for him. Talk more tomorrow.

  • Hi Al
Have to say the worship on Monday night was awesome, you could really feel the spirit of God in the house - thanksfor that.

Loved your comments about gLo and the army - when William Booth was 76 he preached a sermon about the whosoever - he said ' to reach and gather these I must make a big sound and paint with a big brush - big as the stars'. He called the young - the 'rising race'. Thank God that with gLo you make a big sound and paint with a big brush - keep it going -you and the guys and gals
are making a real difference to the 'rising race' in Lurgan - God bless ...H&J

  • Hi Al - got up this morning thinking about Booth (SA influence) - I decided that I like the phrase - the rising race - why? because 'race 'is a noun that means 'a group of people of common ancestry with distinguishing features. Race implies just not a few but many many people with the common ancestry of Jesus and with Jesus distinguishing features - nation as it were. Thank God for all of you who are nuturing a rising race through the work of gLo, through the work of the UnderGround - thank God for those who had the visions for such things. Go build a rising race. Ps 33;12 Gb j.
