This past week has been an incredible one. gLo was absolutley amazing - over one hundred young people out on the streets of Lurgan trying to be Jesus. This prayer-filled sacrificial community seeking for epiphanies of the Almighty in little old Lurgan is gathering strength. The army is increasing in size and in stature - you see bones, i see an army. This army loves their Captain and their cry in is the heavenly shout of 'C' mon!'
Well done to all you guys who visited old people, cleaned gardens, ran the kids club, hung out with teenagers, coached football and painted murals. Let's make this kind of living a lifestlye. I love the rawness and lack of religion there is when we get together - i feel priviledged to be part of it and when we worship God together it feels goood to be alive. Pray as if it all depends on God and live like it all depends on you.
from gLo it was straight into our mission fundraiser last night. Wow - another great night. we managed to raise approx 17000 pounds towards our trip to Uganda. A massive thank-you to the team for pulling together so well and making the night such a success.
I should say in between all this we managed to get beat 2-0 by Linfield!! Ah well!! One more game to go and then we get a break!!
So today i am a bit knackered - running on empty but full of hope - i feel alive inside me. Knowing Jesus brings that deepest kind of joy we can find and being part of a kingdom of hope faith and love that seeks to bring the beauty of God to the world is LIFE IN ITS FULLNESS.

Anyway, I know i wasn't really about much last week for gLo but it was great
